I made Ina Garten’s Perfect Roast Chicken one night this week for supper. It was perfect. I usually bake my whole chicken at 350 degrees for a couple of hours. I drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the top and sprinkle on some salt and pepper. We eat it with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies, and the leftovers are reincarnated into chicken salad or chicken burrito bowls. There were no leftovers from this chicken, honestly.

Her recipe calls for a five to six pound chicken stuffed with a halved lemon, a bunch of fresh thyme, a halve head of garlic; and then rubbed down with butter and salted and peppered. Roast at 450 degrees for an hour and a half. It tasted like rotisserie chicken, no joke.

Cooking From Asia== Cabbage Roll and Meatballs

This is my last meal from Asia Japan and China –Cabbage Roll and Meatballs. Please enjoy*-*

Ingriedients:

one egg

ground beef

one slice onion

 

cabbage leaf (3 or 5)  

 

parsley flakes

 

bbq sauce

 

browning

 

soy sauce

salt

 

 

 

 

 

Methods: Meatball

1.Add egg and other ingriedients to ground beef. Mix well and use to spoons to form a perfect ball. Roll meatballs into flour.

2. Fry meatballs until golden brown. Keep warm in oven

1. Fry your onion until soft, add ground beef to onion in pot and cooked well until brown, make sure to season with salt and pepper or any prefrence of seasoning. Put into container to use for your stuffing and cabbage roll.

2.Put your cooked Ground beef in the middle of soft cabbage leaf and roll starting from the white hard section until you have a nice roll. (Tip image 4) Make sure to soak your cabbage leafs into hot boiling water to make them soft and eatable.

                                        Try: Stuff Cabbage

For this Method of stuff cabbage, it is just like taco without the cheese. You only need to scoop a table spoon of  cooked ground beef into the cabbage leaf and you good to go. It was fantastic. Bon Apetit*-*

From My Garden Part 2

Today i will be showing an update of my garden. had a few run in with insects eating the leaves of my beans and sweet pepper after lots of research i came up with the solution of how to get rid of them chemical free, will make sure to share the info with you at the end.

                                             ==My Home Grown Scallion DIY==

                                                                 DIY GROW YOUR OWN

1.Get any store grown scallion and cut off the the top green section like the picture above.

2. Put into a small container of water for at least two weeks to let the buttom scallion sprout grown out

1.After 2 weeks you will have good amount of sprout at the buttom and green sprout at top. You can plant these in your regular garden soil,in pots or non-pots.

                 I will make sure to update you with how my purple scallions are looking and end results

                                                            =Non-Chemical solution i used to get rid of plant eating insects=

Dishwashing solution
you will need:
Any spray bottle container,preferable one which is new
Water
Dawn ultra dishwashing liquid original scent(i used the blue color liquid)

Procedure:
Mix the dawn and water together into your spray bottle. Use more dawn than water.
Spray your mixture solution in board cracks wall cracks,holes and around…( but not on plants…)

                                                                    Garlic solution for Insecticide
you will need:
10 garlic cloves, unpeeled
3 cups hot water
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon dishwashing liquid

procedure:
1. puree the garlic along with peels in a blender
2.Strain the mixture through a fine sieve strainer into a jar or any container.
3. Add oil, water, and dishwashing liquid.close the jar or container tightly and give a good shake. Pour into a spray bottle.
4. Apply to both sides of leaves every three days to control hatching insects eggs.

My Personal Kitchen Tinker Corner – Saturday Breakfast

Happy saturday everyone. Today i will be sharing with you one of my typical saturday breakfast eatery. I have been cooking healthy and non-healthy breakfast on and off only to give myself a change.

Ingredients:

Method:

1. Cut your potato and season with any preference of seasoning. Put cooking oil in hot frying pan and fry your slice potato with your  bacon until golden brown. Put your chicken nuggets into oven and bake until crispy and brown. After your bacon and slice potato are all done fry your eggs,it can be any version sunny side up, scrambled etc. 

put everything on serving plate. Slice your strawberries and sprinkle with sugar to have a sweet taste. Cup of hot chocolate  with marshmallow is extra. Bon Apetit*-*

Cooking of the Month –Asia– Chinese Cooking=Beef with Celery and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

1 cup steak or beef sliced

2 tbs soya sauce

1 tbs wine

salt

1 small onion sliced onion

3 stalks celery, sliced

1 cup fresh mushroom sliced

3 tbs water

3 tbs oil

Method:

1. slice beef, marinate in soya sauce, wine and salt. Slice celery, onion and mushrooms.

2.Heat oil in wok or frying pot to smoking point. Stir meat and onion in wok for about three minutes.Remove beef and onion to a bowl or platter.

3.Add celery, mushrooms and 3 tbs water to wok or frying pot. Stir fry until mushrooms are wilteed. Cover for at least two to three minutes. Add beef back to wok, stir fry all ingredients about one minutes. It is all finishe Bon Apetit*-*

Hello everyone hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. I wil be continuing with the country Asia from June for the month of july.
It has been a very slow month for me, with computer tecnical issues and so on. But i really do hope i will be able to do more posting this month
