Cooking From Asia== Cabbage Roll and Meatballs

This is my last meal from Asia Japan and China –Cabbage Roll and Meatballs. Please enjoy*-*

Ingriedients:

one egg

ground beef

one slice onion

 

cabbage leaf (3 or 5)  

 

parsley flakes

 

bbq sauce

 

browning

 

soy sauce

salt

 

 

 

 

 

Methods: Meatball

1.Add egg and other ingriedients to ground beef. Mix well and use to spoons to form a perfect ball. Roll meatballs into flour.

2. Fry meatballs until golden brown. Keep warm in oven

1. Fry your onion until soft, add ground beef to onion in pot and cooked well until brown, make sure to season with salt and pepper or any prefrence of seasoning. Put into container to use for your stuffing and cabbage roll.

2.Put your cooked Ground beef in the middle of soft cabbage leaf and roll starting from the white hard section until you have a nice roll. (Tip image 4) Make sure to soak your cabbage leafs into hot boiling water to make them soft and eatable.

For this Method of stuff cabbage, it is just like taco without the cheese. You only need to scoop a table spoon of  cooked ground beef into the cabbage leaf and you good to go. It was fantastic. Bon Apetit*-*

My Personal Kitchen Tinker Corner – Saturday Breakfast

Happy saturday everyone. Today i will be sharing with you one of my typical saturday breakfast eatery. I have been cooking healthy and non-healthy breakfast on and off only to give myself a change.

Method:

1. Cut your potato and season with any preference of seasoning. Put cooking oil in hot frying pan and fry your slice potato with your  bacon until golden brown. Put your chicken nuggets into oven and bake until crispy and brown. After your bacon and slice potato are all done fry your eggs,it can be any version sunny side up, scrambled etc. 

put everything on serving plate. Slice your strawberries and sprinkle with sugar to have a sweet taste. Cup of hot chocolate  with marshmallow is extra. Bon Apetit*-*

Cooking of the Month –Asia– Chinese Cooking=Beef with Celery and Mushrooms

Ingredients:

1 cup steak or beef sliced

2 tbs soya sauce

1 tbs wine

salt

1 small onion sliced onion

3 stalks celery, sliced

1 cup fresh mushroom sliced

3 tbs water

3 tbs oil

Method:

1. slice beef, marinate in soya sauce, wine and salt. Slice celery, onion and mushrooms.

2.Heat oil in wok or frying pot to smoking point. Stir meat and onion in wok for about three minutes.Remove beef and onion to a bowl or platter.

3.Add celery, mushrooms and 3 tbs water to wok or frying pot. Stir fry until mushrooms are wilteed. Cover for at least two to three minutes. Add beef back to wok, stir fry all ingredients about one minutes. It is all finishe Bon Apetit*-*

Hello everyone hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far. I wil be continuing with the country Asia from June for the month of july.
It has been a very slow month for me, with computer tecnical issues and so on. But i really do hope i will be able to do more posting this month

I have always enjoy eating Orange chicken whenever i go to the mall, so i have decided to cook up some for this food of the month coming from Japan right from my  kitchen. The out come was yummy. Enjoy*-*

Chicken Ingredient:

Flour

chicken cut into cubes

seasoning

soy sauce

1 egg beaten

Method:

1. Take cut cube chicken and season with soy sauce and seasoning(make sure to take skin off chicken). Dip chicken into egg mixture and then into your season flour.

2. Layer your chicken into close container of flour and shake until you have a good amount of coating. Arrange chicken onto grease baking sheet and bake on high until golden brown.

Sauce Ingriedient:

1 or 2 orange

2 garlic grated or crushed

half onion chopped

1 scalion

half ginger grated

1/2 tbs corn starch

1/2 tbs soy sauce

1. Slice everything and put in container.

2. Wash and slice your orange,squeeze the juice from it into a small bowl, add your soy sauce and cornstarch, mix well and put aside.In a frying pan with a bit of oil sautee your onion and scallion until tender. Add your sauce and stir.put in your baked chicken and mix everything well until it all comes together and chicken is covered with sauce. Finished *-*

Monday Japanese cooking Rice paper Roll

My food from Asia, specifically Japan I have chosen to prepare rolls, this has been my first attempt and the expreience and outcome was amazingly well, the taste was enjoyable. My opinion of the rice paper is that it tasted very similar to rice,texture extremly refine a bit rubbery and delicate. Loved it.

I will make a post of how i made my teriyaki sauce, so please do look out for that.

Ingredients:     

1 avocado chopped

can tuna 

3 slice lettuce leave

slice baby grape tomato

slice cook pork/or any cooked meat kind

1 shredded carrot

4 rice paper

Methods:

 1. Put your rice paper into warm water for about 7 mins until  soft. Mean while slice and prepare all of your ingredients. Put every thing into a bowl and mix well, add salt and paper to taste.

2.Put your mix ingredients into centre of rice paper and bring two sides into center,bring the top part of the rice paper facing from you down and slowly roll until you have the Finish effect of a roll. Simple as that we are finish enjoy.. Bon Apetit*-*

==Tip==

When you are about to put your filling into the rice paper make sure you do take them out of the water 2 mins before, that way it will be easy to roll and assemble and you won’t end up with any rips.

Traditional soy sauce from Japan is excellent for dipping and cooking. Allot of people prefers Chinese soy sauces, which comes in light and dark varieties,for marinating meats. Dark soy sauce has molasses added to give it a richer color making it good for glazes, and barbeques.

Other essentials are Chinese oyster sauce, Japanese sweet rice wine, Japanese rice vinegar, Thai red or green curry paste, coconut milk, Chinese cooking wine, and oyster sauce.

Use the stock granules(dashi-no-moto) sold in Asian grocery stores. If you buy instant dashi and the instructions turn out to be in Japanese, use the following method:: in a pan, stir 1 heaped teaspoon of granules into 2 cups cold water and bring to a boil.

Any Italian bread

Grater garlic

1 tsp olive oil

  1. Spread butter onto both slice of bread, top with your grated garlic and sprinkle your olive oil on top.

  1. Layer all of your topping onto one slice of your bread. Put slice cheese on top of your bread when you are all finish. Put in oven for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese melts on top. And it is finished.

A calzone is like a pizza in reverse– it resembles a large pasty with the dough on the outside and the filling on the inside

1.Roll out your dough  and place all of your topping along with your sauce over half of your dough the one nearest to you, season to taste.

2. Fold over the other half of your dough to form a half moon. Press the edges well to prevent the filling from coming out.

Place on a baking tray, lightly butter the top poke holes in top top to allow steam to escape and sprinkle grater cheese on top.

Place in oven for 25 to 30 minutes on 350 until golden brown.

1.Roll your dough into bacon bits and sundried tomato. Roll dough out like the diagram shown above.

2.Placeall your toppings on top along with your pizza sauce. Place in oven and let bake for 25 ro 30 mins on 350 degrees.

Monday Italian Food== Pizza Part 1

Today food from the menu will be baking pizza part 1 from the Naples region in Italy (pizza was invented in Naples Italy)  In this post i will be sharing with you how i made my simple pizza dough and all cheese pizza.

Scone Base Dough ingredient:

3/4 cup self-rising flour

1.2 tsp salt

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup milk

Method:

1.Put your salt and flour together and shift into a bowl using a strainer.Add butter to sift mixture.

2.Rub in butter with your fingertip,until the mixture is close to fine breadcrumbs. Make circle well in the middle of  mixture and pour in milk little at a time and mix with a fork until soft

3. Put your dough out onto floured work surface and knead three to four times. Roll out or press dough into a greased baking sheet. push up the edges slightly to form a ridge.

1. Spread your pizza sauce onto dough, take your all three cheese and place on top of sauce in no particular order.
